Answers to the most common questions about getting paid, your Refersion account, and your application. In Refersion, your ambassador account may be labeled "affiliate."
How and when you get paid
You earn commission when a customer orders using your ambassador code or link. Current commission terms and any promotional offers are shared by email and on the Ambassador Program page.
- Payout method: Unified Payments is the default. If you have PayPal, also add your PayPal email in your Refersion ambassador account as a backup.
- 30-day hold: Commissions are held for 30 days, starting at the end of the month they were earned.
- Payout date: Payments are sent on the 2nd of each month and can take until the 10th to reach your account.
- Example: Commissions earned in August are held through the end of September, sent on October 2, and arrive in your account by October 10.
Note that your ambassador code can't be combined with other discount codes.
Payment questions
When will I get my first payment?
Payments are sent on the 2nd of the month after your 30-day hold ends and can take until the 10th to reach your account. For example, August commissions are sent October 2 and arrive by October 10. Make sure Unified Payments is set up before then so your payment can go through.
I don't see Unified Payments in my account.
You're likely logged in to your ambassador account, not your Marketplace account. Create a Marketplace account at marketplace.refersion.com/register, then follow the article How to Set Up Unified Payments for TickTalk Ambassadors.
I already added my PayPal. Do I still need Unified Payments?
Yes. We prioritize Unified Payments for every payout. Keep your PayPal email on file too: we'll use it as a backup if an issue comes up with Unified Payments. Setup takes just a few minutes.
What happens if a payment doesn't go through?
If an issue comes up with Unified Payments, we'll pay you through PayPal if you have it on file. If a payment still doesn't go through, our team will send it manually through PayPal as soon as possible.
Account and application questions
I was a TickTalk ambassador on Buzzbassador. Do I need to reapply?
No. Our program has moved to Refersion, and your account info was transferred over. You just need to confirm your account to make it active. If you haven't done this yet, email us at marketing@myticktalk.com and we'll help you get started. Once your account is confirmed, follow the article How to Set Up Unified Payments for TickTalk Ambassadors.
I never got my welcome email.
Check spam, junk, and promotions folders. If it's not there, email us and we'll resend your welcome email.
My application info was wrong.
Email us with the correct details and we'll help update your account.
My application was denied.
This usually means required information was missing or incorrect, most often the platform URL (for example, "N/A" instead of a link). Reapply through the Refersion application portal with the correct information, including the full URL of your blog, website, or social media channel.
