If you're upgrading from a TickTalk 4, you can move your existing TickTalk SIM card directly into your new TickTalk 5. In most cases, you do not need a new SIM card or wireless plan.
The TickTalk 5 packaging includes the tools needed to complete the SIM transfer.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- Your TickTalk 4 watch
- Your TickTalk 5 watch
- The included TickTalk screwdriver
- A safe place to store the SIM lid screw during installation
Move the SIM Card
- Power off both watches.
- Remove the SIM card from your TickTalk 4.
- Use the included screwdriver to open the TickTalk 5 SIM compartment.
- Set the SIM lid screw aside in a safe place.
- Insert the TickTalk 4 SIM card into the TickTalk 5 with the chip facing down.
- Make sure the SIM card is fully seated in the slot.
- Reinstall the SIM cover.
- Securely tighten the SIM lid screw.
- Power on the TickTalk 5.
