Why can't I transfer data to my new TickTalk watch?
What should I do if the sync process stops or fails?
If your TickTalk watch displays a sync failed error, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Before You Start
For successful watch-to-watch syncing:
· Both watches must be powered on.
· Both watches must be connected to Wi-Fi.
· Both watches must be updated to the latest tOS version.
· Both watches should have at least 50% battery.
· The Admin User must be available to approve the sync request.
Step 1: Check Wi-Fi Connection
Make sure both watches are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
A weak or unstable connection may cause the sync process to fail.
Step 2: Turn Off Airplane Mode
On both watches:
Settings > Airplane Mode
Confirm Airplane Mode is turned off.
Step 3: Keep the Watches Close Together
Place both watches within 3 feet (1 meter) of each other during the sync process.
Moving the watches too far apart may interrupt the transfer.
Step 4: Restart Both Watches
1. Power off both watches.
2. Wait a few seconds.
3. Turn both watches back on.
4. Start the sync process again.
Step 5: Approve the Sync Request
The Admin User must approve the sync request in the TickTalk Parent App before the transfer can begin.
If the request is not approved, the sync will not continue.
Step 6: Update Both Watches
On each watch:
Settings > OS Update
Install any available updates and try syncing again.
Step 7: Check Battery Level
Make sure both watches have at least 50% battery before starting the transfer.
Low battery may interrupt the sync process.
