If the speaker or microphone on your TickTalk 6 is not working properly, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Problem: Watch Call Volume Is Too Low
- Swipe up to open the Control Center and increase the watch volume.
- If the watch is often used in a noisy environment, consider connecting compatible Bluetooth headphones.
Problem: Watch Has No Notification Sound
- Open watch Settings/Control Center and check the notification volume.
- Make sure Silent Mode is not enabled.
- Make sure the watch is not currently in DND/Focus Mode.
Problem: Your Child Cannot Hear the Other Person
- Check that the speaker area is not blocked by dust, water, or debris.
- Gently clean the speaker area with a dry, soft cloth.
- Restart the watch:
- Power off the watch.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Turn the watch back on.
- Test another call.
Problem: Other People Cannot Hear Your Child
- Have your child use the watch in a quiet environment.
- Make sure they are speaking clearly near the microphone.
- Check that nothing is covering the microphone opening.
- Restart the watch and test another call.
Reset the Watch
If the issue continues:
Back Up the Watch
On the watch: Settings > Backup
Reset the Watch
On the watch: Settings > Reset
Restore the Backup
In the TickTalk App: Settings > T-Cloud > Sync From Last Backup
