TickTalk 6 eSIM activation troubleshooting
If you purchased a wireless plan but your TickTalk 6 still shows “Not Act.”, the eSIM profile may not have finished downloading and installing.
Before you begin, make sure the watch is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Then try either of the following steps:
Option 1: Retry from the eSIM settings
- On the watch, open Settings.
- Select eSIM.
- Keep the eSIM page open. The watch should automatically retry installing any eSIM profile that did not finish installing.
Option 2: Restart the watch
- Restart your TickTalk 6.
- Wait for the watch to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
- After reconnecting, the watch should automatically retry downloading and installing the eSIM profile.
Important: Do not reset the watch
Do not factory reset your TickTalk 6 while activating the eSIM. Resetting the watch removes the saved Wi-Fi password, which can prevent the eSIM profile from downloading.
TickTalk 6 uses a built-in eSIM, so activation does not require the APN troubleshooting steps used with a physical SIM card. For most “Not Act.” cases, start with the two steps above.
Still need help?
If the watch still displays “Not Act.” after trying both steps while connected to Wi-Fi, please contact TickTalk Support and provide your watch IMEI and the phone number associated with your TickTalk Wireless plan.
