TickTalk 6 is designed with IP68 water resistance to help protect against everyday exposure to water, including splashes, rain, and minor spills.
What Does IP68 Mean?
In laboratory testing, TickTalk 6 is tested to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 60 minutes.
For best performance, we still recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to hot water, salt water, or chemically treated pool water.
In everyday use, this means TickTalk 6 is designed to handle:
- Rain
- Hand washing splashes
- Accidental water exposure
- Everyday active play
What Activities Should Be Avoided?
We do not recommend wearing TickTalk 6 during:
- Swimming
- Bathing
- Showering
- Water sports
- Extended water exposure
These activities create water pressure and conditions that differ significantly from laboratory testing.
Maintaining Water Resistance
Water resistance may decrease over time due to normal wear and tear. If a seal becomes damaged, water protection may be reduced.
Is Water Damage Covered Under Warranty?
The standard TickTalk 1-Year Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by water exposure.
For additional protection, including accidental liquid or water damage, you can add TickTalk Care+ — an optional protection plan available for eligible TickTalk 6 devices. Care+ must be purchased within 30 days of your watch's first activation.
