TickTalk 6 introduces TickTalk Radio — a first-of-its-kind, fully parent-controlled, age-curated music and wellness experience, replacing iHeartRadio Family from TickTalk 5. iHeartRadio Family was a well-loved feature in its own right — TickTalk Radio builds on that foundation with a more precise, parent-managed experience designed specifically around how kids listen at different ages.

Curated by Age, Not Just by Family
iHeartRadio Family offered a broad, family-friendly content library. TickTalk Radio takes a more precise approach: stations are organized into three age-specific groups —
- Junior (ages 3–5)
- Explorer (ages 6–9)
- Tween (ages 9–12)
Instead of one general "kid-safe" pool, your child gets a listening experience actually built around their stage of childhood.
Parents Choose Exactly Which Stations Are Available
This is one of the biggest upgrades: parents can preview and individually enable or disable stations — not just apply one broad filter. If there's a specific station you're not comfortable with, you can turn it off directly, while leaving the rest of your child's age group available.
Wellness, Relaxation, and Focus Content
TickTalk Radio goes beyond music. It includes dedicated wellness stations — calm, sleep, breathing, and mindfulness content — designed to support kids beyond just entertainment.
Parents can also turn on Focus Mode, which limits listening to wellness stations only (calm, focus, sleep, breathing, and mindfulness audio) — a option didn't exist with iHeartRadio Family.
No Ads, No Open Search
TickTalk Radio is a closed, station-based listening experience: no ads, and no open search bar for kids to look up anything they want. It's built around the idea of curated stations rather than an open catalog.

TickTalk Radio is included at no extra cost as part of the TickTalk Wireless Premium plan — families on Premium get full access to TickTalk Radio without adding anything separately.
One Trade-Off Worth Knowing
TickTalk Radio is intentionally focused on music and wellness — it does not currently include podcasts or story content, which were part of iHeartRadio Family on TickTalk 5. TickTalk Radio's approach trades some of that content breadth for deeper age curation, individual station controls, and wellness-focused listening.
