What Is TickTalk Care+?
TickTalk Care+ is an optional paid protection plan available only for eligible TickTalk 6 devices in the United States. It adds coverage beyond the separate TickTalk Limited Manufacturer Warranty — it doesn't replace that warranty, it supplements it.
Care+ is billed at $4.99/month plus applicable taxes, and is purchased separately from your TickTalk Wireless service.
Which Devices Are Eligible?
TickTalk Care+ is currently available only for TickTalk 6. TickTalk 5, TickTalk 4, earlier models, separately sold accessories, and international devices are not eligible.
To enroll, your TickTalk 6 must be paired to the TickTalk App and activated with eligible U.S. cellular service (currently TickTalk Wireless). TickTalk may verify your device, activation date, order information, TTID, and account details to confirm eligibility.
How Long Do I Have to Enroll?
You must purchase TickTalk Care+ within 30 days of your TickTalk 6's first successful activation. You may be offered Care+ during activation, but you can also enroll any time within that 30-day window if you skip it initially.
Important: resetting, re-pairing, transferring, or replacing your device does not restart or extend this 30-day window. Once the window closes, Care+ can't be added to that device — and any damage that existed before you enrolled isn't covered.
Billing, Renewal, and Maximum Coverage Length
Care+ bills monthly and renews automatically until canceled. Coverage can stay active for up to 48 monthly billing periods from your Care+ activation date. After 48 months, Care+ automatically ends and billing stops — a repair or replacement along the way doesn't restart or extend that 48-month clock.
What Does TickTalk Care+ Cover?
While your coverage is active, Care+ covers:
- Accidental physical damage — cracked screens, broken housings, impact damage, damaged buttons
- Accidental liquid or water damage
- Hardware failures or malfunctions
- Software failures that normal troubleshooting, updates, or resets can't fix
- The original TickTalk 6 charging cord that came with your device
There's no limit on the number of eligible claims while your coverage is active, and TickTalk doesn't charge a deductible, service fee, or replacement fee for a covered claim.
What Doesn't Care+ Cover?
Care+ does not cover:
- Lost or stolen devices
- Intentional, staged, or fraudulent damage
- Damage from unauthorized repair, disassembly, or tampering
- Damage or issues that existed before you enrolled in Care+
- Normal cosmetic wear (scratches, discoloration) that doesn't affect how the watch works
- Data loss
- Damage from unauthorized software or OS modifications
- Accessories other than the original charging cord — wristbands/bands, protective cases, screen protectors, Power Base products, charging adapters, and other detachable accessories are not covered
How Do I File a Care+ Claim?
Submit an online Return for Refund or Replacement Request at:
myticktalk.com/pages/concept-return-replace
Be sure to indicate that your request relates to an active Care+ plan. You may be asked for your order information, proof of purchase, TTID, photos or video of the issue, and a description of what happened. TickTalk may require you to return the device for inspection, and may deny a claim if required information or the device isn't provided, or if fraud or misuse is involved.
What Happens After I File a Claim?
TickTalk will first determine whether your device can be repaired. If not, it may be replaced with a new, refurbished, or like-new TickTalk 6 (exact color isn't guaranteed). If you need to return your device, TickTalk provides a prepaid return shipping label — just follow the packaging instructions provided.
Your remaining Care+ coverage carries over to an approved replacement device and keeps your original 48-month end date — a replacement doesn't restart the clock or extend coverage.
How Do I Cancel TickTalk Care+?
Cancel anytime through:
TickTalk App > My Services > TickTalk Care+
No phone call needed. Once canceled, coverage ends immediately, automatic renewal stops, and there's no cancellation fee. You'll be refunded the full charge for your current billing period — charges from prior completed periods aren't refunded, except where required by law.
Note: once you cancel Care+ on a device, it can't be re-purchased for that same device later. Also, selling, gifting, losing, or returning your device does not automatically cancel your Care+ subscription — you'll need to cancel it yourself in the app to stop billing.
What If a Payment Fails?
If a scheduled Care+ payment doesn't go through, you get a 3-day grace period to update your payment method or retry the charge. Your coverage stays active during those 3 days. If payment still hasn't gone through by the end of the grace period, coverage may be suspended or ended — and claims aren't covered for any period when Care+ isn't active.
Is Care+ Available Outside the U.S.?
No. TickTalk Care+ is currently only offered in the United States for eligible TickTalk 6 devices on eligible U.S. wireless service.
Can I Transfer Care+ to a New Owner?
No. Care+ is tied to your TickTalk account, order record, and device — it doesn't transfer if you sell, gift, or otherwise pass along your TickTalk 6.
