What Parental Controls Are Available on TickTalk 5?
TickTalk 5 was designed to help families stay connected while giving parents greater control over their child's communication, safety, and daily routines.
Parents and Administrators can manage contacts, monitor location, receive safety alerts, approve friends, and customize settings directly from the TickTalk App.
Contact & Communication Controls
Parent-Approved Contacts
All contacts must be approved by a parent or administrator before they can communicate with the watch.
Parents can:
- Add contacts
- Edit contacts
- Remove contacts
- Control who can call or message the watch
Block Unknown Callers
Parents can enable Block Unknown Callers to prevent anyone outside of the approved contact list from calling the watch.
Friend Approval
When a child attempts to add a friend through the Add Friends feature, parental approval is required before the friend is added.
Parents can review and manage friend requests directly from the TickTalk App.
App User Permissions
Additional parents, guardians, or family members can be invited to the TickTalk App.
