What Data Will Be Transferred if I Use the T-Cloud Sync Option?
T-Cloud allows you to back up and restore supported data from your TickTalk watch.
The information that can be restored depends on whether your original watch was successfully backed up before it was replaced, lost, damaged, or stopped working.
If Your Watch Was Backed Up Using T-Cloud
If your original watch was backed up through:
Settings > Backup
you can restore data from your most recent backup.
Data that may be restored includes:
- Photos
- Videos
- Messages
- eGreeting Cards
- Contacts
- Reminders
- Watch Settings
- Child Profile Information
To restore your backup:
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Go to Parent Portal > T-Cloud.
- Select Sync From Last Backup.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note that only data included in the most recent backup can be restored.
If Your Watch Was Not Backed Up
If your original watch was never backed up to T-Cloud, or the watch can no longer power on and no backup exists, only information stored in your TickTalk account can be transferred.
This may include:
- Child Profile Information
- Parent-Approved Contacts
- Emergency SOS Contacts
- Reminders
- Basic Settings
The following watch-stored content cannot be recovered without a T-Cloud backup:
- Photos
- Videos
- Messages
- eGreeting Cards
- Other content stored only on the watch
Important Note
We recommend enabling regular T-Cloud backups to help protect your photos, videos, messages, and other watch data in the event your watch is lost, damaged, or replaced.
