Yes.
Even if your original watch no longer powers on and cannot be backed up, you may still be able to restore information that was previously saved to your TickTalk account.
What Information Can Be Restored?
Depending on your account and backup status, the following information may be restored:
- Child profile information
- Parent-approved contacts
- Emergency SOS contacts
- Reminders and alarms
- Basic watch settings
- Other app-based settings stored in your TickTalk account
What Information Cannot Be Restored?
If your original watch cannot be powered on and you have never used T-Cloud Backup, any content stored only on the watch will be permanently lost, including:
- Photos
- Videos
- Message history
- Other watch-stored content
What If I Previously Used T-Cloud Backup?
If T-Cloud Backup was enabled before your watch stopped working, you may still be able to restore previously backed up data.
To restore from a backup:
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Go to Parent Portal > T-Cloud.
- Select Sync From Last Backup.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your data.
Please note that only information included in the most recent backup can be restored. Any content created after the last successful backup will not be recoverable.
Setting Up Your Replacement Watch
When pairing your replacement watch, sign in using your existing TickTalk account and follow the on-screen instructions to restore available data.
