Why Don't My TickTalk App Settings Match the Watch?
If a setting was changed in the TickTalk App but does not appear to update on the watch, the watch may not have received the sync request.
Try the troubleshooting steps below.
1. Make Sure the Watch Is Online
The watch must be connected to either:
- Cellular service, or
- Wi-Fi
to receive updates from the TickTalk App.
If the watch is offline, settings changes will not sync until the watch reconnects.
2. Verify Your Phone Has an Internet Connection
Make sure your phone has an active:
- Wi-Fi connection, or
- Cellular data connection
A poor connection may prevent the setting from being sent successfully.
3. Reapply the Setting
Sometimes a setting may not sync on the first attempt.
Try:
- Opening the setting in the TickTalk App.
- Changing the setting again.
- Waiting a few moments for the watch to update.
4. Restart the Watch
If the setting still does not appear on the watch:
- Restart the watch.
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Reapply the setting.
